Cory Lee was born into a talented musical family where his love for music came from his

Mother. He began singing as soon as he learned to talk. Entertaining relatives with his creative

renditions of Hoyt Axton, John Anderson, Ted Nugent, and Elvis tunes, displaying a love for a

variety of musical tastes. At age 12, he received his first guitar from his grandfather and began

teaching himself to play while writing music. Later that year, he performed his first original tunes

at an open mic night. 

At 16, he opened for Michael Martin Murphey at the Tulsa Expo Center at

a benefit concert for Catoosa Tornado Victims. He found a love of performing for large

audiences during this year. Performing some of his original music to audiences of a thousand

resulting in standing ovations. Cory went on to play in and front numerous bands while attending

Broken Arrow High School. He was hooked on the thrill of being a performer and addicted to the

high he got from a crowd pleasing performance.

Continuing to follow his passion and develop his talents, took him to Nashville and Branson.

Performing at the side of leading performers while sitting in with the Horse Creek Band at Silver

Dollar City, where his grandfather Buffalo Bud was a premier vocalist and resident comedian.

He played numerous other venues around Branson and often shared the stage with Di

Scherling.

The USS Cole bombing brought out a passion to defend his country. He was drawn to serve

and make a difference, enlisting in the U.S. Navy. He served 10 years active duty on

submarines, but not without his guitar. At every port call, he shared his love of music and

entertaining, while also keeping his crewmembers entertained with humorous songs about their

misadventures while under way. The Navy landed him on the west coast where he called

Washington state home. He continued to serve in the Navy Reserves and his community as a

firefighter. Using the GI Bill to pursue his true passion for music, he earned his bachelor’s

degree in Music Production and interned at the legendary Robert Lang Studios in Seattle.

In 2018, Cory and his family relocated back to Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2019, he decided to become

a full-time musician, his efforts earned him a nomination for Acoustic Solo Artist of the Year at

the 2019 Tulsa Music Awards.

Currently, he performs at least five to six shows a week, throughout Oklahoma, Arkansas and

Missouri.  He also plays shows in Kansas, Texas, Missouri and all throughout the us.

He is a high-energy, enthusiastic, and soulful performer with a beautiful-rich acoustic

sound.

 Cory feeds off the energy of the crowd, drawing them into his world of

melody and magic. Performing a wide variety of mixed genres, guaranteed to delight any crowd

mix with oldies, pop, rock, country, soul, blues, and current top 40 hits with a mix of his own

music.

Cory continues to write and produce music in his own studio. 

He is the father of three talented children who share his love of music and perform with him on special occasions.
